There have many trailers stolen from around my neighborhood and I have taken measures to keep mine. This small lock would be very difficult to break off or be cut off without a lot of trouble. That's what you want in any situation...to make them think twice and move on to an easier target.These locks are very well made and are very sturdy. Easy to put on and take off. They provide that extra level of security and peace of mind

This lock works very well. I've had it for several years now. unfortunately I've forgotten it on the trailer several times and water has started to rust and damage the lock. it still works but it alittle harder to turn and the key gets stuck. Although that is my fault and not the lock. I've decided to purchase a new one. Good price and works well.

Did not know that the entire thing unscrews. I thought you turn the key and it unlocks.This lock literally unscrews itself using the key .Never seen a lock like it but it does work .Just takes a while to lock and unlock which can be annoying 🙄

This lock works just as it is supposed to. I read some reviews saying it was still possible to cut through with a saw if someone wanted to…I think that’s true for any lock. Good purchase as far as I’m concerned. I only use this on my trailer, I never use the pin that came with it anymore.
