It includes a class 3 hitch and a custom trailer wiring harness to plug in trailer lights. The class 3 hitch is specifically designed to fit certain years of the Honda CRV. It offers a custom fit and is rated for up to 3, 500 lbs. GTW and 350 lbs. TW (limited to lowest-rated towing component). It features a standard 2" hitch receiver and is tested in accordance with SAE J684 for safety. It also has industry-leading rust resistance, inside and out, with its co-cured liquid Bonderite and powder coat finish. Included with this class 3 hitch is a custom trailer wiring harness for the vehicle. The wiring harness equips the Honda CRV with a standard 4-pin trailer wiring harness, and it requires no splicing for installation.

I recently installed the CURT 99306 Class 3 Trailer Hitch on my Honda CR-V, and let me tell you, the installation was so easy I felt like a DIY genius! I used it to haul a large U-Haul across Texas, and it really helped me move an entire dorm room's worth of stuff. Who knew my little CR-V had it in it to play truck for a day?That said, a word of caution: adding this hitch turned my car into something it definitely wasn’t meant to be! If your vehicle isn’t built for towing, prepare for a fuel-eating, noise-making adventure. My CR-V sounded like it was auditioning for a monster truck rally with all the racket it made. So, while it was a great solution for moving, just remember to embrace the quirky nature of your newly “transformed†car. Overall, it’s a solid product, but be ready for some extra fuel stops and laughter along the way!

Simply put, the bolt holes are about 1/8†too far inward to be able to thread the bolts through. Without modifications, this won’t fit on my 2012 CRV. In addition, the supplied fender nuts are too large and overlap one another. You should expect to have to cut new bolt holes and source your own hardware.

The wiring harness was not with this as stated it would be. But the box was mangled and might have slid out in the UPS truck.

Did not fit. Sent what the wanted to and no answer on the call back number. Many missing parts. It's a scam!!!!! Do t do it please!!!!

Great product. Takes way longer than 30 minutes to install as indicated on the instructions. This is a two person job.
