I love that these are black instead of shiny silver colored because I'm using some of them in a way that they will be showing. I hooked them onto the outside of a hanging organizer so that I can use these to hang my headbands and cosplay ears. The open part of the hooks can be bent outward to accommodate wider headbands but straight out of the package (with no adjustments) these hooks fit most of my cosplay ear headbands. The few headbands I have that have cloth or fur wrapping on them are the only ones that I needed to bend the hooks for.I do plan to use some of them for curtains and they seem very much up to the task. They easily hook into fabric with the sharp end and the hook end is sturdy enough that I don't forsee them having any trouble holding standard curtains.
