The box says to use 1.5v AA batteries. Once you open it up and get to putting it together it actually takes AAA batteries.

This product is SOOO cheaply made. I’m so disappointed because I was saving up for it and disregarded other options cuz this one looked cute! BIG MISTAKE! It’s cheaply built, the wheels are horrible. They don’t even spin and my baby is constantly flipping over for the same reason that it won’t turn. It arrives in a little box. Also when I assemble the interactive table, it’s super light and unstable. My baby flips it as soon as she tries to pull herself up to use it. You would expect more for the price. Not baby safe.
