Storage of Cutting Mats
- When you have finished using the cutting mat for cricut, stick this dust-proof protective film on the mat, which can better extend the service life of the cutting mats.

This pack of four mats comes in a mylar envelope and each mat has its own mat coversheet. The outer dimensions of each mat exactly match that of my Cameo branded mats. The top edge features a guidance arrow for loading. By fingertip feel, this mat is just slightly thicker and slightly stiffer than a Cameo mat. The mat surface stickiness feels about the same. My permanent vinyl was held down perfectly by this mat. This mat loaded into my new cameo 5 without any problems. Note that the Cameo machine manual says that to maintain your warranty you can only use Cameo brand mats. I’m not sure there is any rationale other than profit maximization behind that guidance, but be aware that that is what the machine manufacturer says. I did a cut of a small project and it went well. An Cameo expert might say that the thicker mat will affect your blade “depth†and “Forceâ€. I’m new to Cameo really can’t tell if there is a performance difference based on the thickness of this and the Cameo branded mat. The other very slight issue is that because this mat is slightly thicker the mat does not necessarily fall below the height of the plastic guidance loading lines on the front of your Cameo machine, so more care is needed when loading in these mats. The other difference is that the printed grid line on the mat is only 1 inch grids. The Cameo mat features grid squares at the quarter inch level. I can’t say anything now regarding longevity and warranty issues. For now, I’m happy I got this pack of 4.

I don't understand why Silhouette Cameo mats are so expensive when they're thinner and more flimsy than the ones I use for Cricut. The lifespan of a brand name mat is really short because they're so thin so I hate paying full price for new ones. These mats are such a game changer. They're thicker and the quality of the adhesive appears to be comparable to the brand mat. The best part is, these come in a 4 pack so my wallet can breathe easy for a while before I need to dish out $$$ again for more.

This off brand mat is a good economical alternative. Similar to other non-branded mats, it does take a bi of adjusting to get to the perfect cut. Overall I don't have an issue with the few millimeters of difference but this might not be the case if you're working with very find details. The pad is pretty sticky and hold the vinyl well.

I am pleased with the CrabCut cutting mats for the Silhouette! I have two Silhouette electronic cutting machines, the Cameo and the Cameo 4, and the CrabCut mats work perfectly with both. What I like most about these mats is that their grid patterns align with the OEM cutting mats and software. Because of this, I have not encountered the registration issues I have had with other mats. I don't have to adjust my project designs, which makes me happy.These replacement mats are a great value. Since I do not use heavy paper for most projects, the standard adhesion provides easy removal and a longer life for the mats!

These cutting mats work great. I’ve not had any issues with them. They fit my machine as expected. They adhere nicely. I have used them multiple times now and have not had any issues. The grip has stayed well after multiple uses. I love them and think this is a great alternative. Especially at this price.

Nice cutting mats that fit my Cameo 5 perfectly. These are also a lot thicker than the brand name mats that come with the machine. The stickiness is perfect for my cardstock needs. I stopped using cameo brand mats long ago due to pricing and lower quality. But this brand is a great substitute. Thumbs up!

I was hoping these would work well for regular arts and crafts. It will work good for a circut machine since the stickiness isn't overly sticky. I dont know if it would work well for manual x-acto cutting. I also love that it's see through so you can tell where things need to be. Decent mats.
