I have a group of first graders who can't blend. I researched that blending boards help. I have a small pointer. The cards are overwhelming for me because there is a lot you can do (see instructions). For now I just need a simple picture and CVC words.

I bought this for a friend who's child is in the 1st grade and was not understanding the CVC and CCVC words. She said this helped him out a lot and he had fun learning.

This is such a great tool for classrooms. I used this in my son's classroom and the teacher loved it. It is so easy to use and the kids loved using it. They loved being able to put words together and the fact that you could put it on the desk made it easier to use. Great tool for any class.

This CVC reading games are just what a classroom or a family oriented learning needs. The materials that are used are of good quality and the games are easy to set up. The items function just as they are supposed to have.The price is reasonable and I would recommend this to teachers. They are a fun way to teach these words.

This is a simple system for reviewing words and letters. The interactive nature of it will make it more engaging for students than just writing and verbal spelling, although they should both be part of the review process. The cards are sturdy and should hold up well to repeated use and awkward fingers.It includes 46 words that can be reviewed in progressively advanced lessons. It starts with short, three-letter words that are aided by a picture and advanced to four-letter words with digraphs and silent Es. There are enough words to allow for repetition to reinforce skills, but not so many that you can't move on from the lesson or that it becomes overwhelming.
