I just got interested in Needlepoint and am a beginner, and i think these beginner or practice needlepoint kits are everything great! Thus can be fun for kids OR adults, has everything you need to complete it, is pretty durable, has a nice overall design to it, and i have had fun doing them and learning all the different stitches they teach you. Plus while learning you can either follow the pages of instructions or watch a video, or BOTH! Super Instructional. Great new hobby to try out!!

I received a punch-needling kit for Christmas and zoomed through it in 2 days so I wanted to look for something equally as fun yet would make me slow down. This was it, it's super easy to follow with the video links provided and a calming activity for breaks and late nights. The colors of the actual yarn may look slightly different than on the papers you're given but that doesn't affect the designs and stitches at all. The kit comes with everything you need, best threader I've gotten from a kit ever.

It does teach you every step but all the products are cheap. The scissors don’t cut, the thread frays, the fabric slides through the frame so it is too loose and the written instructions are very vague.The videos are very good and it comes with everything you’ll need. It’s very cute and for the price very worth it.

I've had other books for cross stitching that provide eclectic subject patterns and intricate designs but only provide the instruction and details of types of stitches used and where. As a beginner, I found myself looking up videos on YouTube for each and every stitch. This kit is great to get the foundation down and practice so when I revisit other books, it will be more of a breeze.It will still take time and learning but I love that all the materials are included. Patterns are already printed on the fabric.Pros- everything-you-need beginner kitCons- how the picture instructions go from second to last to last step picture explanation looks like an obscure magic trick. QR code is included for additional videos though!

Quality is good for the price. Each stitch has only photos for instructions. I could have used a little written explanation

I used to do a lot of needle work when I was a little kid and decided recently to relearn. I ordered this off of Amazon because it was relatively inexpensive and promised to teach me all the basic stitches. While it does have outlines for the basic stitches, you actually have to scan the QR code and go watch the tutorial. There are no written instructions. Other than that, it's a completely serviceable beginner kit. Happy embroidering!

This was great for teaching the basics of cross stitch! It also came with access to a tutorial video, which was super helpful.The only downside is that the materials aren't the highest quality. That's not to say it's low quality - the canvas is nicely thick and the thread is stuff you could buy at a craft story - but it definitely matches the price for the product. For example, I tried threading one of the needles and managed to snap it (but that may have been because I was trying to put a six strand thread into too small of a needle). But if you're just trying out cross stitching and don't want to pay out the nose for materials, this is a perfect product for beginners!
