I got these for my hard tail mtb and they work great and they will not catch on debris on the trail like my original lever style thru axle quick release. One nice feature of these is that the Allen nut is inside the rotating black knurled collar that mates to the frame. This means when you give it the final proper tightening, you are not rotating the axle nut knurling against the bike frame knurling. Both knurling's stay mated as they should by design. This helps keep the axle on the bike frame even if it loosens up some. I would easily recommend this product.The proper torque setting is printed on the nut. (10.0Nm).

No major newsflash here but they work as you would expect them to. A cheap and easy way to secure your wheels and shave15 grams LOL. QRs are great but most of us aren't trying to shave seconds off of a wheel removal and it does just clean up the bike if you're trying to simplify one.

Just remember to carry a hex Allen key for the ride. Would make it harder for someone to take you're expensive carbon wheels

I was watching berm peak and I found out about these skewers for my bike I'm so glad I watched the video on YouTube and Steph told me about the bikes bicycle secures I really don't need the quick release I don't take my wheel off all the time and then feel I feel a lot safer without my will not be in stolen

Got these for a road bike. Never any intention to use for “security†just wanted a clean look that can be serviced with a common wrench. These do the job splendidly. They feel pretty durable as well. For the price, can’t be beat!

Super happy with these, great quality for twenty bucks. Took a chance on the sizing for my ‘22 Trek Marlin 6 which is spec'd as having 100mm front spacing and 135mm rear spacing… yet these fit it perfectly. Hope that helps someone with their own bike fitment as this listing isn’t very informative in terms of dimensions.
