Iron It On
Need not sew! These 3.5" x 2.5" rectangular patches feature a strong, heat-activated glue backing for a seamless iron-on application that will firmly stick in place in minutes with an ultra-secure hold that won't come off.
Getting It To Stick
Set iron to the hottest setting, with no steam. Line up the patch on your desired fabric and cover it with a thin pressing cloth. Apply iron with heavy downward pressure for 45-60 seconds. Allow heat-set patch to cool. Repeat if necessary. Don't iron appliqué onto leather, satin, nylon, rayon, or any fabrics that will fail at 400°F.
Sewing Instructions
Certain fabrics and materials are not suitable for heat-setting, such as leather which can discolor or crack from heat application methods. If you're reaching for the needle and thread, follow these simple sewing tips for the best results.
- For sewing by hand, we recommend a 1/8th-inch blanket stitch.
- For sewing by machine, never use a straight stitch (this will cut the patch). We recommend a zig-zag setting set to 15-stitches-per-inch.

I ordered 4 Bermuda flag patches, but received 3 Bermuda and 1 Dominican Republic flag patch.I don't usually reach out to sellers, but I received an email from the seller asking for feedback, so I decided to let the seller know how disappointed I was about the mixup of patches.To my surprise, I received a response within the hour, with an apology, a reasonable excuse and the offer to send me the right patch. Considering the order was fulfilled by Amazon, I did not blame the seller and I was going to just take the loss and forget about it.I did accept the offer of a replacement, and I received another message several hours later letting me know the replacement patch was on its way, and I could keep the wrong patch as a gift.As for the patches themselves, they are beautiful and very well put together. The size, quality and look are as described. The cost I felt was fair, and given the quality, I would have paid a little more.Originally I was thinking to give this item 4 stars, only because of the mixup. However the seller's quick response and commitment to ensuring I got what I asked for, was first class and well deserving of 5 stars.I would most definitely buy this product again and I would also recommend this seller.

Nicely made, although I wish it conformed to the standard size for national flag patches; this is slightly taller than standard. I also wish it had a gold border to match all the other national flag patches I have. (I collect flag patches for countries I have visited.) Hence 4 stars out of 5.On the other hand, after an intensive Internet search, Cypress Collectibles is the only source I have found for a flag patch for the (now defunct) German Democratic Republic (the former East Germany). So, kudos to Cypress for making this available.
