Holds alot of water and paint, holds a good point and snaps back better than a squirrel hair. I love these brushes. The Handles are very comfortable although small. Thank You Davinci---ðŸ‘ðŸ¼

I was surprised that the less expensive brushes have so much more spring and life in the brush. Maybe I'm handling the brush wrong. For me it is a little lifeless. It does sop up paint if need to do that. There is no way could paint a large area with a wash. Also can't paint in tight spaces as the bristles are too soft. For me, this is not the best brush, but maybe someone else who watercolors more often would use it better.

This is a superb brush. Feels great in your hand, can hold lots of water, is wonderfully flexible, and capable of creating all kinds of brushstrokes.
