Choosing the proper deck size for your neoprene skirt is not an exact science and is dependent on the abilities and strength of the paddler. A more experienced and fit paddler may prefer a tighter fitting skirt that will better resist implosion, though it is more difficult to put on and take off. The opposite is true for less experienced paddlers. We recommend the MEDIUM deck size for experienced paddlers who prefer a tighter fit. If you are less experienced, we encourage you to size up to the LARGE deck size for comfort and ease of use.

Guys, this is a RAND skirt. Which means it’s going to be absurdly tight when you first get it, and it’s going to fit perfectly once it’s stretched out a bit. A size large will fit the Dagger Stratos, Alchemy, etc. but this is not a bungee skirt that will be easy to put on in the beginning. I’m a 90 lb woman and managed to get this skirt on with about 5 minutes of struggle. But it’s going to look impossible when you first try it (it’ll appear as if the skirt is a good 7†too short). Just keep working at it, and once you get it on, let it sit for a week or something.Also, regarding waist size, this thing is incredible. It will truly accommodate a wide range of waist sizes. It fits me perfectly (25†waist) with a watertight seal but could definitely accommodate a full grown man. I’m truly impressed with this skirt.

Good price, and a very nice, well-made skirt. I have an older Dagger, and although the information I read indicated it would fit, it in fact did not. We put up a fight to get it on, but it simply wouldn’t stay.I shopped around and this is. 5-star skirt. I knew there was a chance it wouldn’t work for me. If you know this will fit your dagger, you’d be crazy to miss out on the quality and price point.

I ordered a Large per the sizing chart for this sprayskirt. Saw several people mention these spray skirts and though it is well made this sprayskirt will not fit onto a Dagger Stratos cockpit. It's not really even close.As an example, I purchase a Seals cockpit cover that does fit. When comparing this to the spray skirt, the sprayskirt is easily 2 inches less all the way around in shape. After fitting the sprayskirt on the first third of the cockpit cover it can only cover about 3/4 of the cockpit due to incorrect size/lack of material. This item is out of production and I would hypothesize that the ones left over are mislabelled as "Large" and are actually a small or medium.

As other reviewers mentioned, this is a very tight skirt. While it may not fit other brands of kayaks with similar cockpits, it does fit the Dagger Katana perfectly. That is...once I worked very hard in my garage to get it on the first time and then left it on for a day to stretch out before taking it out on the water.

Bought a Large size which should fit a 18.75" - 23.0" width and 35.0" - 38.75" length cockpit.However the un-stretched width was 15" and length was 28" (Circumference 73") which seems to correspond to the dimensions for Small?Replaced it thinking it was a batch problem and got the same size again. Then went with a XL to fit my 19" X 36" cockpit. And it was still hard to mount even though this is a bungee spray skirt and I am used to rand spray skirts. Well at least it won't pop-off too easily!

Good spray skirt with a neoprene deck and suspender nylon tunnel for open water paddling. Works well on dagger atlantis and current designs Solstice GT kayaks.

I learned real fast that if you want to play in the Dagger Katana, you are going to get wet and get water in the boat. I ordered this spray skirt right away and have been using it every time I climb into my Katana. Works like a charm.

We ordered a Size Large for our Dagger Stratos as recommended by Dagger. The skirt is really great quality and nice looking however if you are looking to buy it and use it right away it won't happen. The neoprene is the right size but the bungee for the combing is way too tight to get on with only one person. We soaked it in warm water (10 minutes) and tied it onto the cockpit past where it would normally sit and let it dry for a day or two. We did this twice for my husband's skirt and three times for mine. Picture attached. Now they work great! Only buy this if you are okay with taking a few days to make it work. The quality is 5 stars but the effort required knocked it down to 3 starts overall.
