The enclosure quality was fine, no rough edges, etc. But the supplied screws were out of spec. I noticed this when attempting to snug the screws down and the enclosure threads seemed stripped. I.e., the screws would turn instead of snugging down. I measured the screw threads with calipers and found the diameter to be too small, outside of industry thread tolerances. Bought some more (and correct) screws at the local store to resolve the problem.

I buy these regularly. A cheaper, convenient alternative to Hammond enclosures. You can see a difference in quality if you directly compare side by side with a Hammond enclosure. I wouldn’t say it’s drastic or anything. After all, we’re talking about an aluminum enclosure here. Perfect for what I use them for.
