This bag is perfect for both frequent trips and storing my gear in the garage.Comfortably fits boots, goggles in their hard case, and helmet. Plenty of space to tuck in soft items like gloves, socks, hat, leggings and a base layer shirt.Dakine is always great quality, and this bag is no exception. If you’re thinking of upgrading from a random duffel bag, do it!

I didn’t realize this was the final missing piece to my snowboarding kit. This pack is just the right size to hold your boots, helmet, gloves, goggles and plenty of other equipment. One recommendation is that I find it more comfortable with the helmet turned 90 degrees from the way shown in the pictures. You don’t know it’s there that way.We used to have all our equipment rolling around the back of the vehicle but now everyone has their gear in one place and makes home storage easier. I haven’t taken it through an airport yet and some carriers might make you check it in as it is fairly large when full.This is also really good value and very well constructed. The only thing missing is a water bottle holder.

The bag is very well made and fits everything I need...although it is a bit snug.The boot compartment is large enough for my size 9.5 boots and a pair of insulated snow bibs. I put the bibs in a separate bag to protect them and put this between the boots. This has the added benefit of adding some padding to keep the boots from rubbing together.The helmet compartment fits my helmet (large) with my goggles, scull cap/hat and whatever else I can fit inside the helmet. The helmet goes into the compartment upside down. The fit is snug, but not too tight.The front pocket fits my gloves, mittens, balaclava, and miscellaneous other items. I could probably also fit a light sweater or down vest.The bag has 2 grab handles and 2 padded shoulder straps, with an adjustable cross chest strap, permanently mounted on the back, making it easy to wear as a back-pack or by slinging one strap over your shoulder. The bag is shaped more like a backpack than other boot bags and therefore feels more comfortable when wearing on the shoulders.The 2 biggest disappointments are: (1) they didn't add any additional zipper pockets to handle small items like keys, a cell phone, etc. (I partially solved this problem by using a couple of zippered pouches to keep things organized), and (2) the bottom of bag doesn't have feet or a rubberized finish that would help when sitting it on the ground in the snow/slush/mud parking lots or drop-off areas. Fixing these two deficiencies would make this a 5-star bag.There are bigger bags out there for about the same price (or even a bit cheaper) with more pockets and features but I found these to be too large and a bit sloppy to carry or wear on my back. The jury is still out on whether I am keeping this bag or continuing my search. Dakine makes great stuff and backs it up with a lifetime warranty. I only wish they would have added the additional pockets and a rubberized bottom on this bag.

Wanted a new boot bag that would hold my helmet too. Went with the 50L -- when fully packed it might not fit in an overhead bin but I am sure if you were didn't try and pack it very full, it would. Anyway, I was able to back 28.5 boots, helmet, goggles, two pairs of gloves, pair of ski bibs and a fleece quarter zip into this bag!! Only used it one trip so cannot talk to durability and sturdiness but have had good luck with other Dakine ski luggage.

Got this for my nephew for Christmas and it help up great this past season. He has plenty of space for his boots, helmet, and other accessories.
