We’ve used this a few times flying southwest. It fit two boards and boots and coats the first time and one board, boots, helmet, and extra shoes another. This provides great protection. Rolling it through the airport isn’t bad just a little awkward. It also does not stand up on its own.

This is is pretty perfect for my needs. you could probably fit about 5 boards in with nothing else for storage but being able to bring two boards, boots, and some other gear works well if you travel to resorts. I also feel much better about traveling with this than most standard soft padded bags that rely on the boards for the shape. on future models the only thing i would change is making them a bit taller and maybe a dedicated helmet area.

Great case, really handy and really loved it while it lasted. Unfortunately it didn’t hold up long. Survived being checked luggage for only 5 trips (10 flights total). The plastic split down the side. Not sure the plastic is sturdy enough to last being shipped over and over, but rather a bit too brittle of a material
