The bag is great, great padding, shoulder strap and zippers. My only complaint is you have a bag that is for a 10' board, you should make the fin pocket to fit a 10" fin. I always like to carry an extra fin just in case and this bag doesn't have the pocket capacity.

Very happy with the quality and protection for the board. It's actually the best surf board bag I've ever bought. The zipper is also high quality and I love that it unzips high enough to easily get the board in. The only very small con is that loop to hang to dry would've been better in front than back of bag.

I bought this expensive board bag so that I wouldn't have to wrap my board in pool noodles and buuble wrap for every trip, but to my horror I discovered that there is NO protection for the rail, none, nada, zero. There's only a 2'' strip of black cloth that connects the two (admittedly well-padded) side panels. The airline agreed with my assessment, btw, as they gleefully put a nice rail shatter into my board on the first flight. Oh, well, back to pool noodles, I guess.

I purchased this for plane travel, but the bag is a few inches too long for Hawaiian and Alaska Airlines. Note that you can use this bag anyway, so long as you tape the tip down to fall within airline limits.
