Quality item. Did the job. Old 1950s shower handles no longer leak. Probably a better solution than dressing the nipple. In my shower there was a little leeway, so I just needed to match the diameter and thread pitch. Get those right or it will be bad news. Also, check out online videos on how to remove old one. You may need to do this take proper measurements before purchase.

I prefer the stainless steel version cause of their ability to stay free of corrosion. These copper ones are fine but don’t over tighten otherwise you strip when trying to get out later. These a really cool way to remove these when needed and worked like a gem. Saw on YouTube. Thread with valve seat remover tool but use a hex straight tool to tighten a bit better.

I have an old sink made in 1951, therefore I have an old style faucet. These bibb seats fit perfectly and appear to last a good while before having to be replaced.

The product looks to be excellent workmanship. It isn’t the proper part for the unmarked faucet I’m trying to repair. Maybe next one will be correct. Not vender’s fault, totally me shooting in the dark.
