The Danco slip-joint tailpiece extension is designed for use in tubular sink drain applications. The flexible tubing bends, compresses or expands for exact alignment for easier ADJUSTMENT during installation. The coupling is crafted from durable plastic that resists clogging and will not pit or rust. The flexibility allows for offset connections up to 2 Inch.

I used this when I removed a garbage disposal. It attached to the new basket drain without issue. I had to trim a few inches off the end, which I expected. Works fine and was inexpensive.

I needed a pipe with a little bend as the pipe going down from the sink was a bit further than it needed to meet flush with the other pipes. This easily fixed the issue.

New sink drain was about 1†off from the old, figured this would be a simple solution. Not hardly flexed at all over the 12†length, First one failed and I figured it was a fluke ordered the second and it failed under a year later. That’s two in about 2 years. Save time and mess and just buy the coupler to extend the pipe from the wall and use hard pipe to connect to the drain. These are junk!!

Great price, but wasn't the kind of flexible tubing I expected. This does not expand/contract to adjust length. At best you will get a 45 degree angle by forcing it.

wasn't looking for anything fancy. just a drain hose that fit.i liked this because it was adjustable and so was an easy installation.super quick shipping too. got it next day.

We installed a new bathroom counter & wanted to centre the 2 sinks which would have involved having to cut & replace a lot of the drainage pipes in order to align the drain with the new sink position, even though they were only being moved forward about 1/2 to 3/4 inches. This flexible extension allowed us to place the sinks exactly where we wanted them without changing any of the drainage pipes.

I would not have been able to use this product. It is mis-guiding to say that it is flexible.
