The other toe tap tub stopper in my mobile home was 40 years old, and wouldn't seal. Ordered this one, and tried to unscrew the other one from the bottom of the drain. It was frozen, so I just unscrewed the cap on top. I was able to use the new rubber stopper and the new top button only. I was surprised it worked so well. No leaks, and I would highly recommend this.

The rubber gasket on our old stopper tore from age/use so I ordered this one to replace it. It came with an extra rubber gasket and two different sized screws to attach it. I was easily able to replace the old stopper and keep the bath tub plugged.

Take your bath quickly or better yet, don't buy this cheap product. Bathtub: check, hot water: check, stopper that keeps the hot water in the tub: uh, no. The rubber gasket will easily slip up into the plastic "chrome" top causing a poor seal or no seal at all. Just a poorly designed product. Baths help take the stress of out of your life. This stopper adds to it as you watch and listen to the water drain out of the tub and you realize you can't really stop it. Actually a wet washcloth does a better job. And it will eventually fall apart (see other reviewers' pictures) and you have to be an amateur engineer trying to figure out how it goes back together.

WHERE HAS THIS BEEN ALL MY LIFE?? I have an old tub that the drain was broken. I've searched all over every hardware store in the area and nobody has anything close to this amazing plug. It looks great, has lasted through many toddler baths, keeps the water in the bath for as long as we needed AND it was the easiest thing to install. I will honestly recommend this to everyone if I could (and if they needed a drain plug...)

I have a "stopperless" tub that a plumber removed the original (Moen) toe stopper from when clearing a clog and then made off with. This Danco was a perfect fit and EASY to install!
