Right out of the shipping bag, 1)saw that it came VERY professionally folded in a zipper bag of it's own; 2) saw ALL the snaps had a protective little sticker cover on them, even the inside snaps; 3) checked out all the snaps, seem very high quality; 4) tested all the zippers: said to be AND look to be waterproof & high quality; 5) on trying it on, glad I read the reviews that said go Up One, otherwise I would have gotten a medium, based on experience w similar Milwaukee Leather flannel - I normally wear a Men's Large shirt, and this large is JUST loose enough to fit nicely, not too tight OR baggy, and should allow for either a long sleeve shirt or a thin hoodie (not a fan of hoodies when riding); 6) lastly, comes with ALL the armor including the spine pad - which I am not accustomed to, so I find it more comfortable with that being removed. Nice to not have to buy that separately tho! Also, the side hand pockets are to me a major selling point. The wife likes to lean on me & put her hands in the pockets if it's a little chilly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I was looking for a light to medium weight riding jacket for "cooler" weather. I also wanted the Flannel Shirt look. After much research I put this one on my Christmas list and Santa got it for me! I have to admit it was much better than I expected, especially for the price. Quality is very good. I have already tried it on a 50 degree day and it was perfect. I think I read in another review that they run small. I usually get XL sized jackets so they fit over layers, etc. So I ordered this in a 2XL and it was the perfect fit. I wore a vest that day and the jacket fit perfect. Very pleased and highly recommend.

The small fits chest size 38-40, not the 44 in the item description. The torso cut is more straight than the Milwaukee Leather flannrl shirt so it fits bettet around the waist for riders with a slim or athletic build. In comparison, the ML one is flared at the bottom for guys with a thicker torso.The pads feel super cheap and flimsy, do not recommend it. The construction of the shirt also feels very coarse and doesnt drape well, imagine a shirt made out of printer paper. The sleeves also run really short and in a cruiser riding position, a few inches of your wrist/forearm will be exposed.In comparison, the Shima Renegade has a much more premium feel and has good armkr.

Great jacket/shirt. I believe they run small. The size chart is nowhere near accurate. I'm normally a 38 chest size and the Medium fits just right. It was a "Try before you buy" deal but oddly, only for the Medium size. Took a chance and scored. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.Wore it on my ride last evening. Worked great. Cut the wind quite nicely.

****EDIT: THE CUSTOMER SERVICE CONTACTED ME BASED OFF MY REVIEW OF THEIR FLANNEL. Hands-down, this is some of the BEST customer service I have ever experienced. They have a ton of other products and I will definitely be shopping with this seller again.****This flannel is very warm. Very minimal air vents. The “holster†inside the pockets is so small I don’t even know what you could ever fit in it. It is just big enough for a single stack magazine. Nice flannel but the conceal carry holster is the worst I’ve ever seen and it’s the reason I bought the flannel.

The front zipper and snaps make this shirt somewhat windproof. The cuffs however are not adjustable so you can not tighten them up to seal out the wind or insects. I ordered one size larger in case I wanted to layer up. Either way it fits well and is comfortable!ONE MONTH UPDATE!!!After a month of use the side seam has let go and opened it up and started to shred !! This might not happen to all jackets but keep this in mind if u order this item.
