I gave this product 4 star because it works. There is nothing wrong with it, it holds up, very sturdy. But it doesn't do anything more than a regular spoon wouldnt do, or your hands. I jumped on the sourdough train and bought all the cute amd fancy "tools", thinking this was one of them. Save your money and buy one of those baskets, a scraper, or put the funds towards a really good scale.This is hard to wash and does nothing special that a spoon can't do.

I purchased this whisk as I’ve been baking more and wanted a whisk that’s easier to clean compared to my other ones, especially when I mix a bit of wet ingredients into dry ingredients and not worry about too much of caking onto the whisk.It’s very comfortable to use, easy to clean and mixes all the dry ingredients together well.I’m very happy with this item and was worth the purchase for me.

After reading a few reviews, I was a bit skeptical of the build quality, so many users put pictures of the head detaching or breaking.I must say, what the hell were they mixing?I have used this mostly for wetter recipes, like crepes and batters for fish and chips, and for those, this whisk was certainly effective, adding air and volume as I mix the ingredients, and I have also made some bread recipes, which are denser and need more "elbow grease" to be able to mix the dough well, and I had no issues at all.Again, not sure what others are mixing but I had no issues at all, the whisk is still holding its own and there are no complaints from me.An excellent item for excellent value.
