KIB-093 Jewelers Eye Loupe is a magnifier made of the best optical material and design. It can be conveniently attached with different glass scale charts for different measuring range applications.

How to Replace the Battery
- To replace the battery, rotate the focus knob to open the battery compartment.
- It is powered by four button batteries. To remove, use a mini screwdriver to push out the batteries.
- Look for positive symbol in the battery and insert accordingly.
- Place back the focus knob then turn on the LED light to see if the new batteries are working.

Used something similar to this in a recent class I took for Bloodstain Pattern Analysis for experiment / lab work we had to do. Some of the elliptical stains were less than 1mm & the length & width had to be measured to get the angle of deposit.After class, I researched for my own equipment & bought this one.Light is 8x brighter than the one I used in class & the glass is crystal clear making measurements less troublesome.Only drawback I can see is the case. While it protects the loupe just fine, there’s no room to store your extra lenses. It’s just big enough for the loupe. Extra lenses are just stored in the small cardboard box which won’t hold up if utilized. Not a deal-breaker, just would’ve been nice to have maybe a inch more w/ a divider for the lenses not used.

I have to use this at my job. I work with lithium batteries and have to measure electrodes ro make sure they are in spec. Came with different scales which makes it easier to transition to different measurements
