Bought this to mount acoustic foam. After finishing a wall, half the pieces fell off, (yes, I waited for the spray to become tacky and pressed down firmly all around each piece before moving on to the next square). I went to a local hardware store and bought a different brand. Redid the first wall and finished the other walls. The second brand worked far better and none of the pieces lost their tack.Side note, this stuff is S T A N K Y. Like, not just, "oh, that's a little stinky", no, "omg that REEEEEKS" stanky. And it lingers. For hours.I'd say skip this brand if you're mounting acoustic foam. Maybe it works better for other things, but I think you need to use significantly more of this product to get it tacky enough to function properly, while the other brand required much less for a better result. (...and it was cheaper. Cough.)
