I bought this duvet set when my husband and I finally decided to invest in a new mattress. We wanted some thing beautiful but cozy and durable because we have pets who sometimes sleep with us. I did some research and decided to go with linen when I stumbled across this duvet set. I got the beige color, so it’s not 100% linen, but it is a 55% linen 45% cotton blend. It has ties in every corner and on every side to hold the duvet in place and a button closure. I was very pleased with the color when it came in. The beige is true to color, not too yellow or too gray. After my duvet inserts came in I decided to put it together and try it out on the bed. I didn’t initially wash it because I wanted to see how it looked. And no surprise it looked great and it felt good! My husband has sensitive skin and certain fabric textures can cause him to break out if thy are too rough. So he laid under it for a little bit to feel it out. He said it was a little scratchy and he thought it might irritate his skin. I do not have sensitive skin and I tried it and it felt fine. Not super scratchy but it could be softer. I knew linen gets softer after its washed so I wasn’t worried about it. We decided that we were going to keep it and so it was washed. After it came out it was much softer, not drastically, but it was enough for my husband to feel the difference. Its very durable heavy material but not hot. The stitching looks nice and the buttons are a beautiful natural wood color. It honestly feels like we’re sleeping in a hotel every night! The pillow shams fit king-size pillows beautifully. The only negative thing would say is that it doesn’t cover the sides of the bed very much. it’s a little too short if you want it to come down and cover your mattress. I have a very deep mattress but even if I didn’t, it still wouldn’t cover the whole thing. Overall five out of five stars for everything else! I would definitely buy this again. I think it’s a great price for what you get especially since linen is very expensive.

I am so happy I ordered this duvet set. The quality, look, and feel are all wonderful. I purchased this in olive. I would say it veers closer to pine green than olive, but it does look as is depicted in the photos--which is what I had hoped for. (To me, in the listing, it also looks closer to a pine green.) I'm happy with the zip-closure and the corner ties--which make it easier to secure the comforter. And the stitching around the edges of both the duvet and pillow covers gives this a nice modern and clean-looking finish. No regrets making this purchase.

Love everything about this duvet cover but the weight. Color is lovely & softened up nicely with a couple of washes, but it’s pretty darned heavy. We bought a summer weight goose down comforter after we’d bought and returned a combo feather/down comforter that was far too warm. The summer weight goose down comforter is far better matched with the weight of this duvet cover. It’s well constructed , in a lovely shade of natural linen that is beautiful neutral. I really like that there’s a hidden zipper enclosure. No outside ties or buttons to hold the comforter in! This is a very polished look and no risk of losing a butter in the laundry. You might have a little trial and error before you find your best matched comforter/duvet cover but it’ll be worth it

I was ready to pay 3x’s the amount for a PB linen duvet. This duvet in white works just as great, along with saving some cash along the way. It will soften with time and washing!!! If you want your duvet to look fuller add another comforter inside. I just used this and put my PB comforter inside so I didn’t need to purchased an insert. However I must say my comforter is white also that I put inside the white duvet. Easy to wash. Hung to dry it also comes with two king linen shams (I didn’t use them yet)I wouldPurchase again.

* UPDATED• after posting this review the company reached out to me to make it right, and although I was hoping for a soft duvet they do have excellent customer service, made it right. They recommend washing it several times to make it softer.*****I was so excited to get this item, the color was perfect and I was looking for a linen duvet with a zipper as my last one had buttons. Unfortunately after washing it I find that it is extremely rough, almost itchy and abrasive. It’s the right size, color and feels well made but what good is it if you feel like you are sleeping with AstroTurf.

I love it. It’s the exact colour I wanted, not white, linen ivory, stunning. Yes it does “shed†a bit but I vacuum once a week anyhow. I washed it gentle cycle, low tumble dry and ironed on low heat for the wrinkles. It is a little wrinkly but I expected that and it’s so soft and lovely. It’s perfect and exactly what I wanted.

Washed the cover when it arrived, ironed it (best to search how to do this as linen is hard to iron properly), and set it up on my bed. It did feel a bit scratchy but it was very comfortable. Flipped it over in about a week and could tell that the side I was sleeping on was smoother. Overall I am very pleased with the purchase and find I sleep much better. If you get this, be ready for creased sheets and pillow cases, but as one person said, embrace the creases its just what they are... and enjoy the comfort.
