I was worried at first about the quality of these knives because of their low price. When they came I was surprised to find the set was nearly as good as any name brand set I've ever used. They may not have quite the fit and polish but they are stoutly made and the blades seem to hold and take an edge just as well as the common name brand ones I'd been using. This is a general use set that would find good use in almost any type of shop be it woodworking, metal smithing or automotive. They would also be good for any type of general craft work. There is a nice assortment of blades and handles to cover just about any and all situations.

Received item on time. I remember these sets were only a dollar at the dollar stores and that was way back in my day so know their usually found at hobby stores or online. I priced this set at many different sellers across town and the web and Amazon had the cheapest price range. They are metal so after using them depending on the project I would suggest cleaning and drying them properly so they do not rust, and if they do rust just buff them with a little steel wool and their like new again.These exacto knives were designed for cutting out stencils for shirt printing..one of my old hobbies printing my own designs for tshirts. But they can be used for many many projects.This kit is a must have for all hobby dwellers.

For under $4, you can't go wrong with this. The blades are perfect for cutting paper, plastic, or soft wood. Everything about them is cheap, but it's not really a problem unless you're using them a lot. If you want something like this set for cheap, I would say go for these, they are worth the money.

very sharp blades.. there are different sizes of blades that fit the different handles so you have to make sure you have the right size in the right handle.. or they will move and you could cut yourself if you apply pressure with the wrong blade in the wrong handle. the large handle is comfortable .. i cut thick card board corrugated board with them.. very glad i chose this one for the price for my carton-age project

For the most part I was really happy with the knives inside they've been really great for doing crafts and small modeling I just wish the case it came in was a little nicer made because it is very poorly made. Otherwise it is ok.

Bought this for my roommate as a gift, as she is very crafty. She uses it for card making and loves it. She uses it daily and hasn't had an issue with it. She loves the different size options.

Just what I needed for my project comes with extra tips there's three separate handles larger tips and small tips are available they or very sharp was a little wobbly but tip has not fallen out or broken off so it seems to be sturdy we will see how it holds up but I'm very pleased so far!

Not super nice but they work great for me love the case very handy closes securly I am happy with em great to just leave in a tool box never know when they will come in handy, the blade shapes are a bit much but im sure to the right person it looks like a gold mine. The big red handle is a nice one to use and I found it very easy to change blades when I need something els. Handy cheap and works well I am happy with it

Arrived on time. Two aluminum pencil blade holders and one with a plastic handle. I liked the Magnetic bar inside the lid that holds extra blades..and it comes with different styles of blades for different jobs..but all will cut. The box itself is plastic with a long rod hinge and the halves were warped a bit..had to fiddle and stretch to close(minor issue)...I used my heat gun gently on it to warm up the edges that close..and let them cool that way..works great now. I dont think theres anything special about the blades...but they come 'sharp'...and the holders are great for the price.

Great cheap set to add to your tool kit. Ideal for what I needed them for. Case is a little warped but getting a case that has a magnetic holder full of refill blades was a nice addition to some good blade handles. It closes and keeps it all sorted just fine. Could hold the blade's supplied a bit tighter but holds my current Xacto brand blades tight no issue. Might be just supplied blades are a bit thinner than standard.

This is a Best buy as it helped me cutting intricate design manually on a heat transfer vinyl. I loved the fact it comes with three exacto knife with different blades. I wasn't able to use all of them especially the square ones.
