I guess all the more modern cars that have electronic parking brakes require a wind back tool. This one kept me in the DIY brake job world for my 2016 Subaru Outback. Saved a lot more money on the job than the cost of the tool and maybe can make some of my friends and neighbors happy when I loan it too them.

So, I watched videos on how to do my brakes as well as replace other major parts down there, to try and save on a ton of money from going to a mechanic.In one of the videos I saw someone using a kit very similar to this one, and it worked flawlessly for him, while others struggled using cubes to twist the caliper back in, or a ratcheting type that was bulky and awkward. After seeing so many people struggle with the cube for the rear brakes, I knew I had to have a kit like this, plus it comes with a wide variety to fit many vehicles out there so I could lend this one out without worry that it won't match their car.The only negative is it stinks! I'm not sure if it's the plastic case, the gloves, or the tools themselves (I don't want to sniff close enough to find out), but leave the case open outside to air out, it's very strong! But I wouldn't hesitate to buy again if needed, great value for the price!

This was a necessay tool added to my tool bocx to perform the Rear break job on my 2013 GM car. The kit includes a left hand and right hand hand crank tool. Many vehicles have the screw type piston. You will need a tool like this to rotate the piston back into the core. you can not use a C clamp. Get this tool. It works.
