Great just the antenna adapter was useless for the e46 and the cover almost didn't fit and the wire harness was the best part

The pictures I posted show my "test fitting" the radio from the opposite side, but it's just to show how much it's off.First, the corners are rounded (while stereos are sharp cornered), and it's shorter by about half an inch horizontally, and a little bit shorter vertically by maybe 0.03 inches.The connector's pins are very wobbly which makes trying to plug it in a little of a headache.The antenna adapter is the wrong style for the oem cable, shown is next to the oem radio's antenna.

Super easy to install via YouTube tutorial, but it was a great buy and recommend to anyone wanted to purchase for the BMW e46

It's a snug fit .. does the job simple install but the antenna Adapter was wrong for a BMW 325i 04. Need the 40-EU10 for the antenna get the add on item threw amazon

Many others said it doesn't fit a single DIN radio.That's because it doesn't. I read someone actually try and blame it on the "sleeve" that comes over most single DIN radios that is used to mount it.Nope. That's not it.It doesn't fit because its incorrectly sized. It MUST be cut to fit, and that makes it even flimsier than it would be otherwise (and its REALLY flimsy).Spend money on a different one from a reputable company.(look at the pic. One end of the radio is flush with the opening. The other is about 1/2 inch overlapping the other side).EDIT:So, I must apologize for my first review. I, like most, assumed the radio would mount the same as an American car. This is NOT the case.The radio does not mount to this trim piece.The radio is placed in the dash, and then this piece surrounds only the front of the radio, not the body of it.If it were to mount around the body of the radio it does not fit.When it is placed only over the face of the radio, it fits perfectly (see my second photo vs. the first).Yes, this piece will work for a single DIN radio. You just don’t mount it like you would traditionally.The radio is very secure with this piece placed only over the face; it traps the unit solidly against the rear post mount.

My trim was cracked due to a poor radio install! The harness was the push for me to order the blaupunkt radio and now my dash is perfect again

This trim kit doesn’t fit a din head unit.It is a a smaller opening than a DINI will have to modify it this much more workThan a proper trim kit.I don’t recommend this product.

It won’t allow for steering wheel function buttons to work also need to cut to fit a single din.

Dash bezel needed a bit of trimming, but the radio adapter and harness worked great! Even with the Harmon Kardon system. Installed in a '01 330CI with a JVC single din. Do note the plugs will have to be stuffed up under the dash to fit everything.

So i baught this kit for 14$ not a bad price. Here is where this kit fails, the pins inside the wiring hanress adapter are super loose so i had to glue them to hold them still. The faceplate, as many other have reviewed is the incorrect size! It dose not fit a single din radio! So i had to trim it to make it fit. The only thig i didnt have to modify was the antenna adapter which was still hard as hell to push in... So why 2 star insted of 1. Well at the end of the day and after some modifications it still did the job.
