Do yourself a favor and confirm the connector type you have in your vehicle.Originally purchased a 10-pin as it was listed to work for our model RAV4 only to find out we needed a 12-pin.Worked out better because the 12-pin variant is far more compact and includes short USB cables making the install much easier.

I like that this adapter is super-easy to install. It has a USB-C socket for your peripheral and it includes several short USB-C to USB-C, USB-Mini, and USB-Micro cables for your peripheral. I am using it for a Radenso radar detector and it works perfectly without disrupting the vehicle electronics.

This 12-pin Model C Dongar adapter fits well with my Toyota RAV4 XLE 2025 ICE / Not hybrid model. Installation is no different with plugging in ethernet cables on your home router or personal computer, It's that simple.I suggest checking YouTube for Dongar adapter installation on Toyota vehicles. What you need to research is how to remove that front sensor cover. You just have to pull down towards you the small part. Then pull down away the bigger part.Make sure to turn off your vehicle first, so you don't trigger your alarm (as stated in the instructions). I have researched online first before buying this product but each article I saw always mentioned about using the electronic rear dash cam port which the RAV4 doesn't have. I sent an email to the seller and they responded promptly.The correct adapter model is the 12 Pin Model C that connects to the Lane Assists (aka Toyota Safety Sense) port. The box includes short cables for plugging in with your USB-A, USB-C, and micro USB (not Mini USB!)On my photo, I have the GoPro 11 on the left and the Viofo 119 Mini v2 on the right. I'm not a car guy but if I can do, you can probably do it too.

The adapter worked just as advertised and intended. It plugged in between the body harness and the rearview mirror. The connectors snapped together with a factory fit and were easily hidden by the stock plastic cover. This part saved me from having to run and install a power wire for my dash cam. The two wires in the picture are the power wire from the adapter and the rear camera. I would absolutely purchase again. The only note is that this is a key on power source, if you are looking for key off functionality (such as parked vehicle monitoring), then this will not fit your need.

This was plug and play for my 2023 Toyota 4Runner Off Road Premium.The panel pops of easily; I plugged the harness in and tucked it in and reinstalled the cover plate with just the USB-C pigtail exposed. I attached the USB-C on the cover plate with the supplied 3m tape and quickly was able to connect my dash cam. Works flawlessly.A very well made product.

The added harness makes the the factory cover a tight fit, but with patience and thoughtful routing, everything goes back together normally. Makes for a super clean install with a Garmi mini 3.

Tried plugging it in to multiple devices and no power at all from the usb c adapter. The cord works fine tested that with a different outlet.

Unlucky to get a defective one. This version will power the rearview mirror but the USB-C is shot. Tried the cable to a power bank, and it works just fine. Something in the Y connection is off. Will return and reorder. Using it on a 2023 Toyota Tacoma.Edit. Customer service did an amazing job of making sure I have the correct one. Ordered a version they’ve recommended and now my 2023 Tacoma has a cleaner dashcam usb port. Thank you and I can’t recommend this product enough. Will buy it again next time for my other car.
