This is a tough review to give because the concept and intention of this mat is beautiful. However the person who developed this artwork clearly generated it using Midjourney, an AI art software application that makes art using other art as inspiration.You can see the women have 6 and 8 fingers, and their hands are all wrong. Worse, there are artifacts in the hair that are very common in Midjourney that don't fit a coherent theme. It would be cool if one woman had echoes of earth elements in her hair and the other related to fire elements, but instead you just get these random AI generated artifacts in their hair (like a piece of a fish tail) on the side of the image that makes no sense at all.I will point out I don't actually have an issue with using AI to help support your creative process. The 1 star here comes from the fact that whoever made this spent zero time reviewing the quality of the AI art and spent zero effort attempting to fix any of the visual issues and artifacts. There is just "no one" at the wheel of this, and clearly no care placed in the product. You could get far better results for the same concept yourself and just choose a "self print" option.1. Open a free midjourney account2. Generate an image like this by making a few queries until you get the result you want3. Spent time to correct bad hands and broken image elements (which the creator did not do), you can do this for example in photoshop with AI in-place image correction4. Scale the image up for printing using a tool like topaz gigapixel5. Send to a print on demand for a play matHopefully this 1 star review will inspire the company behind this play mat to actually care about the quality of their products and do even the smallest amount of QA needed to ensure they are not burning customers with their minimal effort cash grabs.

I was a bit reluctant to buy this mat because I couldn't find any reviews or pictures taken by other people. I was very impressed when it arrived because the quality seems great and the printing of the image is neat and not pixelated. Would recommend.
