I didn’t give much thought to underwear before this. Surprisingly comfortable and they stay in place. I just threw out my existing underwear and bought two more packs of these.

I ordered this set of underwear shorter than the previous pair. I wanted a pair of underwear that would not ride up my legs while being active all day. So far, these have worked well. They are soft, do not catch on your outer clothes, and really do not feel like you have them on.

These feel like you're wearing women's lingerie - not that there's anything wrong with that - but it isn't a fit for me. They are too filmy and lightweight. I bought a pair of David Archy long-johns about ten years ago and they are still holding up fine but they are also cotton. They are soft but hefty. David Archy has changed. I think they're well made but the wrong feel for me.

I tried these trunks after buying the same new product in the brief (which is also amazing) and have to say these are also AMAZING. This new modal fabric by DA ( and I will only wear underwear made of this fabric) is even better; lighter and a little more stretch but still supportive. I'm 188lbs, 33W, fit, and avg size package, and MED fits perfect. These are trunks so they are minimal and the waist band is a tad wider than the older modal trunk, which makes it better. They wash and dry easily with no piling yet. I see only 2 drawbacks for some: The fabric is sheer striped and the front panel is not double lined but single fabric throughout. So if you're changing in front of anyone and you're super modest, be warned, or if you happen to "drip" there isn't extra material to absorb. The other issue is related; single ply front panel doesn't "hold back" much, so if you're endowed it may not support as much as you'd like but gives more of a free feeling, which I personally like. This also is a detriment if you get excited. None of these apply to me and I really like these as an alternative to the brief, which is my go to.
