With our second baby on the way and the first one still needing a crib, we wanted to buy our daughter a new crib and give the current crib to our new baby. We also wanted to avoid spending as much as we did on the first crib.We found this crib and really liked the styling and decided to give it a shot.When the crib arrived, the headboard had some nicks and dings in it to the point that you could see the raw wood beneath the paint. I've come to accept this as a risk when buying things online, what I just hope for is a good customer service experience when it happens. Luckily, that's what I got from ShopFreely.The customer service rep responded to my message within 24 hours and was very understanding and willing to help. They shipped out a new headboard and I had it a few days later.This crib is just as well constructed as our other crib that cost $300 more and was just as easy to assemble.If I ever have to buy another crib (I've got two so I'm pretty sure I won't need to), I'll definitely be getting one from this company.

Highlights: Solid New Zealand pine; Greenguard Gold Certified (reduced exposure to VOCs and toxic chemicals, meaning improved indoor air quality); non-toxic paint; lead and phthalate safe.Easy to put together, but had a couple of nicks when it arrived (somewhat hidden, so not a big deal for me). The chestnut color looks really nice. Paired it with a Shiloh musical mobile and a dual-sided standard crib mattress + organic waterproof mattress cover + organic cotton fitted crib sheet (make sure never to use bumpers, pillows, blankets/quilts, toys etc. around baby while in the crib). Has 4 levels to raise/lower mattress as needed. Make sure to buy the toddler bed- as well as the full size-conversion kits (both sold separately) to ensure the convertible crib's usage till the kid is well into their teen years (and beyond, as a guest bed). And don't forget to register all your baby products!Only thing was that I had to wait for about a month for it to arrive, but Amazon was on top of it and shipped it out as soon as it was manufactured , as a result of which I received a brand new piece!

This is our 5th crib crib. We've been there, done that a few times, so we were looking for something pretty and moderately priced. I originally selected a $1,000 crib that looks very similar to this one. I decided on this because I'd rather save the money. Let's face it, a crib isn't exactly a real "investment." This one is beautiful, safe, very solid, sturdy and was simple to put together. I'm a somewhat handy woman and it took me about 90 minutes to assemble. We purchased all of our other cribs at Babies R Us, thinking shipping would be too much, etc. Truthfully, this was much, much easier. I didn't have to make a special trip with a large vehicle to pick it up, it came right to my door. I have Amazon Prime, so it was free.I am extremely pleased with this purchase and would buy it again. The color is black and it really is elegant. I highly recommend it!

I'm writing this review assuming that the people buying this are at least buying the full set, meaning a crib and another piece of furniture like the 6 drawer dresser. To start, I would highly suggest that you begin by putting together the smallest piece first, so for us we bought the crib, this 4 drawer dresser, and the 6 drawer chest, and I started on the 4 drawer dresser. The instructions dont have really any words to them so its basically following the pictures and learning from there. Some of the cons with the instructions are sometimes the pictures are misleading or incorrect and the pieces arent labeled so its hard to tell which is front and which is back, or which is left/which is right. I would also suggest you use an 18V screwdriver on everything EXCEPT the cam bolts as you dont want to put these in too far which I found out the hard way on this piece. Once you get the hang of it the crib and other pieces are easy to put together. By myself this piece took about 1.5-2hrs to assemble the first time, however the 6-drawer chest and crib took about 1 hour each after that. Just make sure to thoroughly review the instructions as you go and its really not bad at all. After completion we are thrilled with how the pieces turned out. They are very high quality and very sturdy. The nursery looks great and we couldnt be happier with how the pieces turned out. I would highly recommend this set.

Beautiful crib. It is a nice bright white. I was a little concerned that it wouldn't be, but it matches the white doors and trim in the nursery perfectly. It was fairly easy to assemble. I put together in a little under an hour by myself (6 months pregnant). There were a couple times a 2nd person would have made it a little easier, but overall I got it together by myself with no issues. There were no scratches on any of the pieces like some other reviewers have said. And it also doesn't look like it would scratch easily either. I scraped it a few times with the screwdriver without leaving any marks. I also didn't notice any smell to it.I will note when we first received it there was a giant hole in the box. This corresponded with a broken slat on the headboard piece. But the rest of it was packed very well. I went to the manufacturers website and filled out the part form. They sent us a new piece for free, no questions asked. We received the new piece in a little under 2 weeks. The new piece wqa extremely well wrapped to avpid damage. And we did not need to send the broken piece back.Overall this crib seems like a great buy. Especially since it includes the toddler rail. We haven't used it yet. If my opinion changes after use, I'll come back and adjust my review.

I had this for my first daughter and ordered a second one for our second baby. Our first one looks exactly the same as the day we bought it!!! And it’s 2 1/2 yrs old!! Love love love it!!! It’s beautiful crib and changes with your child 💖
