I decided to redo my mailbox and replace the generic cap that was previously on the post with this light, and I’m so glad I did! Elevates the look without replacing the existing post. It was very easy to install with the different bases (used the 4x4 vinyl base) and it fit like a glove. So far I am impressed with the amount of light it puts off. I’m out in the country with no street lights, and it makes spotting my driveway easier in the dark. I’ll likely add these on either side of my gates as well for a little extra visibility. I’ll get a better night time photo and add to this review!

I like these. I’ve even gone back and bought two more after my original purchase. My application is pretty standard, but I like the fact that it comes with multiple ways to attach to different size posts. I think that is a big bonus. I like how it comes with an extra bulb, if needed, but I have not needed it thus far. It seems to be sturdy and I’ve not had any leaks inside with the terrible South Florida rains, so I’m very happy with its construction. Overall, I think is a great product, durable, and lights up well. If I do need more, I will definitely purchase again.

First, I would like to state that I rarely rarely rarely write a review.The install was easy. Looks good. All metal and glass aside from the plastic base. The lighting is OK but we were only using them for driveway markers at the road so we did not need a lot of light.One out of the pair lasted less than three months. I was able to swap bulbs back and forth between the two units to determine it is a bulb issue. These are specialty bulbs that can't be purchased anywhere. I attempted to disassemble the bulb to try to repair and its impossible without breaking them as the acrylic glass is mended to the base.Some of this cheap stuff on amazon is worth it. This is not. Now this China made amazon POS will end up in a land fill and polluting the earth.If you need something like this, I recommend purchasing a similar product from Lowe's or Home Depot so you at least get a 1 year warranty.

Bought a pair of these in August this year. One of them stopped working less than 6 months in. Good looking light but bad quality!**Contacted the seller and got a replacement shipped in a timely manner. Will see how this new one performs in the coming month. Change my rating from 2 to 4 for quick response

Bought these for my end of driveway design with L-shaped fencing and 6x6 posts. Surrounded with black mulch and planted a small dogwood with each. Mounting and set up were very easy as they come with multiple mounts for different sizes to include 4x4, 3x5, 6x6. I'm very happy with the light output as they are plenty bright and great markers at the end of the driveway. Very bright white light. They also came with replacement bulbs in case the first set is broken or eventually dies. They are solar and so far seem to be lasting well over 6-7 hours I to the night even on days with little sunlight. Overall very pleased with the fitment, versatility and color/ light output.

I returned this item twice because one light would always be dimmer than the other, or just not stay on as long as the other. On the third attempt what I realized is that the dim light is because of a bad bulb design. There are two springs on the bulb base that make contact with the light fixture. If it's not a tight contact the bulb will be dim or burn out quicker. A slight tug on the springs to stretch them makes the contact tighter and the bulb brighter. The bulbs are not standard. You have to buy specific Davinci bulbs that are available on amazon for $5. Although I screwed the fixture to the post, walking by I've bumped into it and the top plate that contains the solar panel and bulb fell to the ground and bulb falls off. The tabs that hold the bulbs in break off. I have tape to hold them in place. Not a great fix. I've ordered a couple of bulbs as back ups.

I'm very pleased with these lights. I bought one set for one of our entry gates and liked it so much I bought a second set. They are heavy duty, real glass I believe, look very elegant on our gate and actually last all night, even on gray weather days which we have a lot here. Best part is they are extremely quick and easy to install, no problems whatsoever. I looked for over a year for solar gate post lights and wasn't drawn to anything until I saw these. I am very happy with my purchase and how the lights look and function, absolutely fantastic!

You know, we bought these maybe two years ago, but they never worked right--only a few turned on. I tried changing out the batteries, thoroughly cleaning them, etc., and it just never did anything. They look cool, but just from time the bulbs have broken, the tops have blown off.I wish I hadn't bought them.
