I am honestly surprised how bright this light is! It was super easy to put on the post. It came with multiple bases, for wood or vinyl. Perfect 💯 👌 fit! I live in the semi-country and don't have any street lights close by. And I work at night. These were the main reasons I purchased the light.I posted it on top of my mailbox post.I think my driveway and house are easier to find at nite. Thank you!

We just got these yesterday. They look great and was looking forward to installing on posts around raised garden bed. However, on light was missing its base. I immediately tried contacting the seller to send replacement part but haven't received any correspondence back yet. Will be returning item if I don't hear back from seller in a couple of days or will revise my review if seller addresses my issue.Update: seller contacted me yesterday and is sending base over.Item was extremely easy to install. You have to take out plastic tabs that are preventing batteries from making contact from light before installing. Initially, one lamp was not working and found a small piece of plastic still lodged next to battery. I've seen other reviewers state that one or two wasn't working, just wondering if that was the problem. We bought these to accentuate our small garden area. 1st night these lit up, they were very bright! Too bright for our purpose. We were eye level with them so maybe that makes a difference. They actually hurt our eyes staring directly at them from 30 feet away. After brainstorming a bit I had an idea to ball up some plastic saran wrap and place them inside light right under led. (We made sure led didn't get hot first, and it doesn't) VIOLA! Instant light diffuser. My wife was happy and amazed what a simple solution it was. She came up with an idea of using colored tissue paper to put inside of them instead (the tissues used in gift wrapping). Worked like a charm! Our lights have a warm blue tone to them now. Just crumple up a small amount of paper and stick inside of light. Now we can change to any color we want. If you're concerned, we had them on for 3 nights now and paper did not catch on fire. LED stays cool.If you need these to brighten a dark area then I totally recommend them. If they are too bright for your liking, like a few other reviewers have stated, try out different colors of tissue or ball up a little saran wrap for an instant cheap diffuser.Update: Had these for 2 months and was pleasantly surprised the other morning. Woke up at 4 am, looked out the back and was surprised that these lights were still lit up. Can't believe they stay on all night long.

So, they are just as described. Easy to install, bright light. However, they are an accent light, don't expect them to light up the walkway. Basically decorative.I appreciate they come with different size mounting base, but they seem kind of flimsy. I used the ones for 4x4" wood post, which have just 2 screw holes to mount them. But this allows them to rock on the post because the plastic base is not rigid enough. I may end up drilling 2 more holes to make it more secure.

I absolutely love these solar lights! They’ve transformed my deck into a cozy and inviting space, even during the darker winter months. The lights charge efficiently during the day, even with limited sunlight, and shine beautifully all evening. The design is sleek and modern, and they’re super easy to install—no wiring required! They provide just the right amount of brightness without being overpowering, creating a warm and relaxing ambiance.

I guess I shouldn’t expect four lights essentially costing about $12 each to last more than a year when they’re outside 24 /7. In New England. Therefore, I’m gonna go change my four stars to five stars! They’re super easy to set up. They’re very reliable and they light up fabulously. Plus, they’re really pretty. This is the third set I’m buying in three years because it seems by springtime, one or two of them no longer works but they’re definitely well worth the cost which is minimal for what they do and for how great they look!

The Davinci Lighting Renaissance Solar Outdoor Post Cap Lights have transformed my outdoor space into a welcoming and beautifully illuminated oasis. I recently purchased the 4-pack in Slate Black, and I couldn't be more impressed with their performance and design.First and foremost, the installation process was a breeze. The lights come with bases for 4x4, 5x5, and 6x6 posts, providing versatility and convenience for a variety of applications. I had them up and running in no time, thanks to the easy-to-follow instructions. The LED lights are incredibly bright and provide ample illumination for my deck, patio, or garden area. I love the warm, inviting glow they cast, creating a cozy atmosphere for outdoor gatherings or quiet evenings spent relaxing under the stars. What sets these post cap lights apart is their solar-powered functionality. They harness the power of the sun to charge during the day and automatically turn on at dusk, providing hassle-free lighting without the need for wires or batteries. Plus, the energy-efficient design helps reduce electricity costs and environmental impact.

2 year product review: worked well for probably a year. Have 10 of them installed. At this point maybe 3 still work.

Terrible lights. Had 1 quit working within a month, now another 1 quit last week. Amazon should not be selling this project. I have written to the company over a week ago and no response. Amazon can't do anything either. DO NOT BUY THIS PROJECT. Total waste of money
