DIY Function
6 DIY buttons allow you save 6 colors you like.
Step 1: Turn on the lights. Press the DIY1 button(the lights will change to white color for the first time).
Step 2: Longer press the red/green/blue down butten until get the color you like. Step 3: Press DIY1 button again, DIY1button will remember the color you set in Setp2 .
Step 4: Repeat the steps above to set the rest of other five DIY buttons.
Notes:
1 Due to the difference between different monitors, the picture may not reflect the color of actual product.
2 Connectors not include in package. Once you cut this led strip lights, it need connectors (buy by yourself) if you want to connect it again or extend it
3 Use this in a dry clean and smooth surface. Adhesive has to keep being stuck down at the start

Product was not working correctly (one of the outputs on the IR receiver was defective) so we ordered another set so we could use both of the original strips that were already mounted on the wall. Swapping the receiver outputs to the opposite light strips had not solved the problem. When we got the new light set today, I swapped out the old two-output IR receiver for the new one and the set worked perfectly. I'll use the old IR receiver to mount a single light strip in another room, and we'll have an extra light strip for a spare. No refund needed - just wanted to report this defective part of the light kit.UPDATE: While working on installing our older light strips (as reviewed above) in another room, I read the directions more carefully and found that I probably did not line up the arrow on the light strips with the arrow on the input cord. While testing the new set that we bought, I used the older IR receiver and found that both IR output cords do work. Sorry for the mistake. Now I know that the directions are not fool-proof!

It works very well and there isn’t many issues. Brightness is good, and easy to set up. Didn’t have issues with adhesive.The remote range however is pretty small and concise. It is sometimes hard to change colors as uou have to aim the remote

The colors are so bright! You do have the option to dim the lights as needed, it was super helpful having it be remote controlled and such an easy set up!

Used this for around my son's queen bed and headboard. We had extra at the end. The lights are bright and easy to install. This is the 2nd time buying these, as we moved my sons room. Once you pull off the sticky side doesnt stick annymore. The first one lasted 3 years, would have lasted longer. The colors are bright and vibrant.

Worked for about 2 months and now they flicker all the time. After being one for about 30 minutes they flicker and change to a red/orange color. The AC Adapter burns to the touch and it seemingly works different in different outlets? (Doesn’t seem to be an outlet issue, other things works just fine). I have to physically unplug the strips at night else they will flicker (even in the off state using the remote) until they eventually turn back on. I’m very disappointed and have tried troubleshooting but I can’t figure out the problem. I will most likely have to buy new ones from somewhere else and replace them.

The remote is not in sync with the lights. We are having troubles finding support online to correct.

These lights work good and look great, however, they do not stick. We ordered them for our daughters room and they just continually fall down.
