The quality seems good and it’s a cute skirt I bought to match the similar green leotard. I bought a medium and it barely fit her. I would definitely size up unless you have a very small waist.

I love this skirt, the color is true, the cut is flattering, the stretch is amazing, however, it’s hard to want to wear it when it rides up my torso while I’m dancing. This is not the manufactures fault (or maybe it is) it’s the design not being compatible with my body type. I am just a beginner adult ballet dancer, I have not been active my whole life so I’m what you’d call skinny fat. My abs are not toned nor do I have a flat stomach. I get bloated and when I do it makes it worse, the skirt ends up crawling up above my natural waistline where I like to wear my skirts. I also don’t have teeny tiny boobs from all the muscle work that ballerinas do, I have a higher fat content than most dancers, so with the skirt inching up so close to my bean bags, I look like I have no torso and seeing myself in the mirror like that makes me a little self conscious and I’m constantly pulling the skirt down. Definitely shows my butt when that happens and I wear skirts for modesty, like most dancers, I believe. My classmates also wears this style skirt to class sometimes and is a very skinny woman , the design of this skirt fits her perfectly, so if your body type is like hers, you’ll have more luck. I don’t think the manufacturer is trying to be body exclusive, I maybe need a bigger size? But I have noticed I’m dropping pounds and toning up from doing ballet so I’m keeping it with the hopes of having a skirt that fits when I do size down. It’s so cute I can’t not wear it though. So soft 😍 and allows so much room to move and shows the right amount of leg so your teacher can see your technique. Okay maybe I’ll buy a bigger size 😌

The item is true to basic US size, the quality of the material is quite nice, it lays prettily over the leotard and covers as it should. My daughter is slightly high waisted, slim but with hips. It is now her favorite, and she’s picky! :)

I had recommended this skirt to my students for a quick costume for a last minute performance. I was embarrassed that I recommended it as students who sized for an adult medium for their recital costume that is coming up in June could not ever slide into the adult medium with out it looking like a "sausage skin".A size chart should be included in the description. Now we had to really scramble to look for skirts.
