Daystar was the first to enter the Leveling Kit market in 1995. Though there have been many companies that have entered the market since, Daystar's Leveling Kits offer many advantages that the others can not claim: No Metal-On-Metal Contact - Daystar uses Polyurethane material in its Leveling Kits for a reason: It's an insulator. It absorbs the Noise, Vibration, and Harmonics (NVH) that come from the suspension and avoids transmitting them to the passenger compartment. All competitors use steel or aluminum in their Leveling Kits. If you were to take apart any factory suspension, you are going to find rubber, polyurethane, and often both in a typical suspension. These pieces are there for a reason; they absorb the NVH. All of Daystar. In the unlikely event you experience a problem with a Daystar product, they will take care of it. Made in the U.S.A. All of the leveling kits are manufactured at the plant located in Phoenix, Arizona. In-house manufacturing ensures a level of quality control that no one else can match.and they have the ISO9001 certification to prove it. Top-Mount Easy-Install Design - Most late-model vehicles have gone to a strut type of front suspension. Most of Daystar's strut applications are a Top-Mount design, meaning that the components bolt to the top of the factory strut assembly. This type of leveling kit does not preload the factory coil spring, so factory ride quality is maintained, and installation requires only simple hand tools. Daystar Leveling Kits work within the factory suspension design, meaning that they work within the factory's design parameters to achieve an increase in ride height that levels the stance of the vehicle. As they work within the factory's design, there are not a bunch additional modifications involved.

These coil spring spacers are nice and durable and worked as intended lifting my vehicle up 1 inch for a little more ground clearance, they already come coated in some sort of grease so no squeaking I definitely recommend them.

First off, let me say that if you take time to read you will see that all of the negative reviews for this product are from people who expected more lift. It's clearly advertised as being a 1" lift and as you will read in my review, that's what I got. The marginal rating of this product is undeserved in my opinion.Like many others my 2006 Silverado was leaning 3/4" to the driver side. It also had 3" of rake from front to back. I purchased both this kit (the 1" kit) and the Daystar 2" kit to try to solve the side to side problem and help the front to back rake. Had my mechanic install the 2" spacer on the driver side and the 1" spacer on the passenger side. He said it was pretty tough squeezing in the 2" spacer in particular. Doing this got me 1 5/8" of lift on the driver side and 1 1/8" of lift out of the passenger side. Your numbers might be a little different if you go with the same spacer on both sides rather than offsetting like I did. In the end, the truck is now 3/8" low on the driver side and I still have 1.5" of rake front to back. The side to side is close enough that it's difficult to notice and the front to rear rake is decreased enough that it isn't near as noticeable. If there is any ride degradation after the install, my butt can't feel it. Overall, I'm satisfied. Hope this helps someone!

Design & measurements from inside spring rest area to top of space is approximately 9/16" at most. This should not raise vehicle 1"

Put these on my 2005 GMC 1500 Sierra crew cab in addition to 3" raised spindles I originally started with because the spindles only gave me a true 2".5 inch lift. I was never happy with just the spindles alone because the tires would rub ever so lightly on front spoiler with the wheel turned R/L while backing. It was time for a front end alignment so I added a Pair of these 1" Daystar KG09100BK and problem solved and I got a true 1" additional lift and it aligned with no problem and looks great with the 17" Pro Comp rims and 265 LT Nitto tires. I did add rear air bags for 1" lift and towing and with both the over all ride is better and less road noise and vibration to the cab.

You have to totally rip down your entire suspension in order to install this product. They are cheap but I never had the chance of using them. This would have to be taken to shop to install because you will have to pay to get a alignment done. Ranging from 100-200$. So add that to your cart when you are buying these. They do not tell you anything about how you have to totally take apart your front end to install them.

Added about an inch of height, was not an easy install but glad I did it.

Awesome product. They're a total pain to install, but I got them because I have cool overs that raise the rear and I wanted my truck to sit level. Lifted more than an inch! -1994 c1500
