Purchased and installed in a 1997 Jeep Wrangler TJ. This is a great alternative to cutting up your interior of your out of rocker positions on your switch panel. The wires were a little tricky fishing up along the vents, but it’s to be expected when doing this type of upgrade. Product appears to be of good quality and was easy to trim for both of my switches m, which were slightly different in size. Like the directions on Daystars website say, trim a smaller hole and then use a file or razor knife to adjust final size of hole. If don’t correctly it will make your switches feel really solid because they won’t move one millimeter. Now for the obvious... it will clearly restrict some air flow out of the top vent..look at the design people, it’s a trade off so I can’t understand leaving negative comments for something you should’ve been well aware of prior to installing. Good, functional switch housing that blends into your interior, bottom line.

Super glad I went this route. Have a clean and clean simple install and help prevent the dash area from getting cluttered

fits great where the blower is. the other comes out simple and this one goes in. I have two switches on it now and it took up no room at all. matches my interior great. sits to the left a bit but I think that is due to the blowing action of the heating and airconditioning

Nice little idea, but while it holds the switches in just fine and looks really cool, there is no way to route the wiring for the switches in it. I also didn't think about how hot the wiring is about to get when the heater is on and the impact that will have on the switches. Can't find a single video or writeup of anyone installing this in any vehicle to see what others have done, but don't think I will use it. Even Daystars video stops at the switch install and doesn't move into the wiring aspect of it. Since it is vehicle specific (TJ and XJ), you would think there would be something out there.

This is a great idea and works very well. Strong plastic material. Colors match well to stock. Durable material that will bend and not crack. Part allows for adding switches and still lets air pass through. The only minor issue was the lack of instructions on how to remove the plastic in the middle to put the switches. I called customer service and an American Person answered after 2 rings and told me I had to cut out the plastic along the crease of the plastic with an exacto blade.Overall great purchase...$20 seems high, but the product is well built and daystar provided great customer service.

Only thing I will mention is that you have to trim the switch holes to fit the Daystar switches. Other than that, its a perfect fit.

Replaces one of your center dash vents to give you two control switch positions. Even though it has two small vents, they are non adjustable and consider that vent blocked. Recommend you install on passenger side vent.Standard switch cuts outs. Will take a bit of fine tuning with a dremel to get the switches to fit snuggly.
