I had dim headlight and consol indicator lights that were dim on my 440 esr. After several tests it was concluded that the voltage regulator was probably. I was somewhat reluctant to buy electrical parts from Amazon. However the part was cheap and 2 days away. This replacement part worked great and fixed my machine. Don't hesitate to buy this component. I will likely buy another to keep in my parts box being I have more than 1 machine this will work on. From what I can tell this will work on both es, esr, non es, esr. Always good to confirm though.

Put it in as a replacement for Artic Cat Z440 and presto the lights all worked again, without blowing out due to surge in voltage when throttle opened.
