After another dent from a grocer shopping cart, I've decided to try and fix the dents on the SUV myself as the dents look terrible. One of the tools I have wanted to get, to help pop out the dents is a sliding hammer. While I've never taken out dents like the current dents in my SUV, I know a sliding hammer is an essential tool because I have seen it in all the how to videos I've watched.This hammer is chrome plated so there is no worry for rust and it's very light. Since I have small hands, I was worried if it would fit in my hand comfortably and it did without issue. The hammer is already assembled so it is ready to use and it works as expected in the dent removal process. I have a number of dents on the SUV, but this sliding hammer has helped me get the first one out and I'm super happy to keep working on the other dents.

I got this sliding hammer to add to my dent repair tools. I am not a pro but I'm trying to learn by working on some older vehicles with body damage. I have watched pro's and it's amazing what they accomplish but there's a great assortment of different tools that they use to get there.This uses the hammer action to provide a short and powerful pulling force instead of slowly pulling the dent. It's well made and is easy to operate. For a novice like myself this tool is a great value for what I need right now.

I got a very shallow dent on my rocker panel. And it was caused by a shredded tire on the highway. So it is clear that the sheet metal on my car is not very thick. That is why I really like that this dent puller can be configured to use a short handle to manually pull the dent out. Using the full size configuration with the big hammer might do more harm than good.

I like the assortment of tabs this comes with. I really like the length of the big long tabs. You must have a large slide hammer to pull these tabs, a small puller isn’t big enough. The small tabs fit into a small puller perfectly though. The big tabs are made of a good quality plastic. The small tabs are kind of made cheaply but I didn’t get this set for the small tabs so I don’t care.

This is a review for the DBGT0 Sliding Hammer T-bar - Paintless Dent Puller Tool for Auto Body Repair Dent Removal.The hammer has a nice finish and plating. It went together easily and works well. Unfortunately it doesn't come with any fittings and most fitting sets also come with a slide hammer. So this hammer is best used as a replacement hammer for an existing kit I think.

A weld on the slide hammer broke on first use. Don't waste your money.
