I have been looking for extenders because I want to wear a bunch of my favorite necklaces together and have a layered look and these were perfect. I also have gained a little weight so some of my favorite necklaces just need an extra inch or 2 to make them fit better. also when wearing certain tops sometimes the necklaces that i want to wear don't hang to the spot I want them too and these are perfect for that too. saved me from needing to purchase a bunch of new necklaces. After I bought a necklace for my wife that had a chain that was just a little too short I looked at many items to extend it. I finally chose this product and couldn't be happier. The chain and clasps are of great quality and don't seem cheaply made. They worked as intended and I highly recommend buying them if you find yourself in a similar situation as I was. Something to keep in mind when it comes to reviews is that many times you see people coming back with a mixed reaction. Some buyers give items a 5 star while others may give a 1 star. This has made me hesitant for buying products in the past but I have learned that items come with a best case and worst case scenario. While most of us may have an excellent experience there always is a chance that someone might have the worst luck possible.

I prefer stainless steel ring band, chain, closure, findings in jewelry. They are hypoallergenic, (mostly) tarnish free, and stronger than zinc alloy that are widely used in costume jewelry. The color is similar to titanium, a darker shade of silver, very nice. The only thing is that it is hard to manipulate because how hard stainless steel is. Also, the chains are made of closed links. Because of the size of the link, it is not easy to cut in order to alter chain length (it can be done but the cutter must be good and precise).Another way to use them is to lengthen existing necklaces. I have a few 16 to 19-inch necklaces that I had wished to be longer. These extenders are great at making my short ones longer.

What you get>> 8 pcs pf chain extenders -4gold and 4 stainless steel(not silver , pretty clearly mentioned in description)Pros>> I am able to wear a gold chain that I got for my daughter by extending the length using theseBoth the ends have lobster claws so I can interlock these to each other as well.Gold shade is pretty good ( real gold look)Cons>>Cannot hold heavy pendants ( unfortunately Indian jewellerylery is pretty heavy and when I tried to use this there the lobster claw bent a bit making it unsafe to wear it again.Will not recommend for heavy jewellery .Shade of the stainless steel extender does not match platinum or silver chains so they are pretty much useless.These cannot be used for dailywear as they are not certified anti allergenic so I will just use them on and off.Summary>> they are pretty useful but could have been better quality and maybe silver instead of stainless steel.

These necklace extension chains in both silver and gold are very nice to have. Depending on what you're wearing you may want your necklace to hang a little lower so these will help a lot. Or you may love the pendant but the chain it comes with is just too short and so these extension chains will help in that way too. Great value for the price too!

they work well. Does what it’s suppose to do. However they don’t necessarily turn the neck green. They tarnish very quickly, especially when exposed to sweat every day. I don’t recommend buying if wearing it in very humid hot weather where you sweat 24/7. Mine tarnish rapidly due to wearing it often and I sweat a lot in very hot weather. Maybe some didn’t experience any tarnish but I did. No matter though, I still use them. It helps give my necklaces extra length since i have large neck size then average. With out these chain extenders, my necklace fit me like chokers. So, regardless of it tarnishing, they’re very useful and practical. I would definitely buy again.

I absolutely love these necklace extenders. They are so easy to use and work great. They seem reasonably strong.I have a few necklaces that are either at an awkward length to wear (they just don’t hang where I want them to) or I sometimes want to adjust the length of a necklace because of the outfit I’m wearing. This set is great for both of those reasons.It’s quick and easy to attach the two ends of the necklace extender to my necklace. I love that there are a variety of extender lengths included in this set.Exactly what I was hoping for! Great product!

Unlike the photos, these are no shine and thick extenders. Not for delicate chains or necklaces.
