this is a 12v self-priming diaphragm pump that was really easy to install and use. the price is great, and I like how well built this is. I bit louder than the one I replaced but overall, a great purchase.

I have a 8 gallon electric sprayer that is on my atv all the time. The pump on it freezes up on it in the winter time if I forget to drain the fluid out of it and I have done that several times. The whole sprayer is a cheap unit that just works so it's not worth spending lots of money on to repair it. That's where this cheap pump comes in. For the small amount this pump costs, it's the perfect replacement pump and fits perfectly. It works just like the originals that keep freezing up. I'm very happy with it and excited to not have to replace the whole sprayer when the pump goes out.

I've been looking for a reason to test his pump out, as my original intention did not pan out.I needed to simply transfer some water from one barrel to another. I had some 3/8" tubing on hand, and a 12v battery to power it. Nothing permanent, but I put some spade connectors on and directly connected it to the battery. I wasn't worried about burning anything out, so no fuse or anything.It took a little to get the line primed, but nothing substantial, and away it went. More press than I anticipated, it was moving water pretty quickly. I didn't have any leaks, but the pump was louder than I was expecting. Nothing outrageous, but loud given it's size.In any case, I had pumped about 10 gallons in about 15 mins. Really effective and easy to set up. I look forward to finding a more permanent use for this pump!
