Got three pairs of these for myself and children for Christmas. You know, as a thirty something year old, trying to relive my golden days. My children are 5 and 7, and only wore them to school. Here we are on February 4 and you can basically stick your finger through the bottoms of all three pairs. The plastic tread is too thin and too cheaply made. When I was younger, a pair of DCs would last me a year or more. Very disappointed in the quality. Ordered new shoes this week and looking forward to better quality from a different company.

My daughter loves these shoes (and she does skateboard). They are wonderful as unisex shoes, the color offerings were excellent and they are holding up well. I will say they did not get 5 stars because they seem to run a slight bit smaller than advertised when holding them up to a different brand size 2 shoe.

Quality doesn’t match the price. The Velcro piece splits and is challenging to manage. My very capable son can’t handle it on his own.

The stitching came apart that held the strap in place.
