I needed some USB plugs behind my radio for powering a few items so I bought this. I tapped the power into the 12v cigarette lighter wires. I’m using it to run a USB dual fan to help keep my Android Head unit cool. It works great. Easy to use, a good power supply, and a good value for the money. I haven’t noticed any problems with heat issues.

I used it to give power to my raspberry pi 4 in a school project and i was more then happy with it. My battery was LiPo 7.4V and it all went well with no power shortages or anything

I purchased this for a hardwired install of a MagSafe mount for my car. I found that it didn't have sufficient power output to allow for MagSafe charging.It does seem to charge my iPhone & iPad directly from the USB-C port, but unfortunately it didn't work for my use case. I ended up needing to run a second cigarette lighter and a higher power USB-C cigarette lighter adapter to get my MagSafe mount to power.

I had this for a month before I finally got it installed. Worked great until day 5 and then it overheated and melted the housing and split it. It now does not work and Im past the 30 day return. I do not recommend this product.

Powering a Raspberry Pi Zero 2W from my pool controller power cable - shows up as a 10V input, and safely powers the Pi - exactly what I was looking for.

I installed this on my wife's Kia Sorento for her dash cam. Instead of the plug to go to the power outlet she wanted the wires hidden and she didn't want to turn the unit off/on. It has never skipped a beat and powers the dash cam quite well. The unit goes off/on with the key and you do not see any wires anywhere. Easy to install and hide.
