Replaced on Dell XPS 15 inch 9560 which I bought in 2017. Was getting battery error on old dell OEM battery charger and new other model battery charger. Almost bought a new OEM dell charger for $68 but decided to try this $6 DC power port. Easy to install. Open cover and remove 3 screws that holds down a clamp that covers the power port. Flip the clamp 60 to 90 degrees to expose the port. Use some force. Then remove the single screw that holds down the port to the motherboard and push/pull the port out. My laptop is charging well now and the battery Dell 56WHr 3 cell Lithium-ion last over 4 hours.

No high amperage, the laptop charges normally and the cable plugs in perfectly. Nothing much else to say. Just a good product that meets expectation. Perfectly matches OEM part.

My computer stopped charging and through troubleshooting I learned that it could either be the port of the BOIS. I purchased this port hoping for the quick fix with upcoming travel. With the Prime shipping and and the easy install I was back in business in two days.

quick delivery; inexpensive; easy to install; fit properly in a Dell XPS 7590. only giving it 3 stars since it only worked for 9 months. The original part worked for many many years. Dell was no longer supplying the part, so getting it from a third party was required.

Went in nicely and fixed my charging issues due to the original Jack breaking. You’ll need a precision screwdriver set if you don’t already have one. Took some time to arrive so used a USB-C charger to get me by (maybe it’ll work for you if stuck)
