I saw the Boston plumber using a tool like this and had to have one but I never would have imagined it would work as well as it did.first right out of the box it was easy to use didn't have to figure it out at allsecond it works on all the pipe 4" and downthird if you might not cut the pipe quite square it still works I have a helper that can't cut a pipe square even with a miter saw so I know from plenty of rough cuts

It works very well on PVC pipe up to 3†schedule 40. 4†is just ok but pushing the limits of the tool. Very happy with the performance overall compared to other tools that cost many times more

I almost bought the less expensive version but now I see why this one cost more, it is clearly superior. The bevel that it cuts is clean and smooth and it was fairly easy to rotate the tool by hand to produce excellent results. It does have a 1/2" socket on the back to attach a ratchet though if that works better for you. The cutting blade is really beefy and should allow it to be sharpened many times if it does get dull over time. Two spring plates attached to the back of the tool allows it to grip the pipe and flex slightly to keep the tool on the piping without slipping off while rotating it. Overall a very well made tool that should last a long time. I may report back after using it on a few jobs.

This is a nice tool and it will deburr the pipe well. It feels well made and has a decent blade that can be removed and sharpened. My only complaint is that it cuts a small bevel just enough to knock the edge off. I was hoping it would be close to the bevel on the inside of a pvc fitting

Never used one. Just a good job chamfering the pipe makes it go together much easier would recommend it.

I purchased this and had it in my toolbox for three days and it got bent. It doesn’t work like it should anymore contact with the manufacturer and they told me there was nothing they could do.
