This decibel meter adopt polarized microphone. Our sound meter can read between 30dBA~130dBa, while reducing the effects of wind noise to produce more accurate readings.
Large LCD Display W Backlight
Our decibel meter has a Large LCD display with back-light with a resolution of 0.1 dB. for clearer reading even in a dark place.
User Friendly Design
Our sound level meter has a user friendly design consisting of a battery indicator and auto power-off function. The battery indicator works as a reminder for users to replace the battery in time for maximum performance. And when the noise meter is not in use for around 10 minutes, it will power off automatically to conserve and extend battery life.
Easy to Carry
The sound pressure level (SPL) meter is light in weight and compact in size, which is easy to carry.

How to Customize Your Own Sound Alarm Value?
Step1:
Turn on the decibel meter, and short press the HOLD button until "HOLD" is shown on the display. (The default threshold value is 100 dBA.)
Step 2:
When the “HOLD” is shown on the display, long press the power button until "dBA "disappears from the display.
Step 3:
When the “dBA” disappears, press “MAX/MIN” and “HOLD” to decrease and increase respectively., and customize your own sound alarm value.
Step 4:
When you finished the customize ,short press the power button to finish the set-up. Then if the sound level exceeds the threshold value, the LCD display will back lit as a reminder.

We had a new blower installed for our HVAC which unfortunately is much louder than the previous one. We need to do some sound remediation and this meter will help determine the noisiest areas. We have used it already for testing and it works fine. Since this is not something we’ll always use, keeping it the original box seems like a good idea. The meter, inside the provided pouch, fits in the box when the foam cap is removed. It’s a decent meter for the price.

This decibel meter has proven to be of great asset to show excessive decibel in the work place. Also, good evidence to show the children they don’t use inside voices within the home…lol. Super easy to use and the carry bag is a good addition to store and carry the meter. The only negative, verification of accuracy has to be done on your own. No indication of accuracy from the manufacturer nor any means to verify the decibel levels are true; no recommended website.

I had some noisy neighbors and I wanted to see if the decibels were above the noise ordinance, so I purchased this to see. Unfortunately, it was right on the border but not such that I could file a complaint. However, this device was a good price and was very easy to use. I am glad that I got it as it helped me in decision making.

Looks good. I'm using it in my music room (bedroom) to keep my amp below neighbor-angering levels. Nice and easy to read from across the room. Seems accurate enough. No idea what the alarm function is for. Things that could be better - I know it's a wall-mounting unit, but I'd like to put it on a table, so controls on the side would be better. A power-supply cable is provided, it's pretty short, which doesn't work with the wall-mounting option, and it plugs into the bottom, further defeating my tabletop preference. No wall wart is supplied either. So I had to buy one. I also think this thing is kind of expensive for what it does. And for the price, I'd expect a usable power supply, and at least a cheap stand. Once all this is figured out, I'm sure I can get it to work for me.
