The deck box cover material is very thick and durable. The inner layer has waterproof strips and the outer layer uses waterproof zippers, which are particularly waterproof. I have a pellet stove and I need a place to store the pellets. While I would love to store them in the house I feel this is a fire hazard and takes up too much space. So I put the pellets in a deck box and get them when I need them. This cover is some added protection to keep the pellets dry. We got 4" of rain last week and my pellets stayed dry. This does what it needs to do, the only problem I have is it is not very aesthetically pleasing. Its bulky and quite ugly.

This makes for a great snow/ice cover for my lifetime plastic deck box. Goes on easy, secures well with pull strings and strap. I really like the zipper around the top in case you need to get something out over the winter. Handles make putting it on/off very easy.

This was slightly too large for my outside casket but still works well .It is made of thick strong heavy duty Oxford fabric with a silver coated layer inside .It has good strong drawer strings to help keep the cover secure.I like that this cover not only keeps the rain out of my storage box but also keeps it clean from bird droppings, moss etc. it also has a handy zip that goes 3/4 of the way around the top of the cover for easy access. The cover also has three reflective strips .

A strong Oxford fabric cover with a silvered thermal inner layer to keep out the heat during summer months. Waterproof the draw string closure will further protect our cushions in our large Kettler chest on our patio, which does let in small amounts of water during prolonged stormy periods as the lid has warped slightly due to age and exposure to the elements.I liked this cover to rejuventate an older plastic chest, however, in terms of cost, at £49.99 it costs almost as much as the chest cost when I purchased it and I can buy a cheap chest for the amount I would have to pay for this cover.I have awarded it 4 stars on the basis of the quality of construction and the fact that it is helping to weatherproof an older box, however, I am not sure whether I would buy one and likely would pay a little more for a new quality garden storage chest.
