Initial review noted these are not blackout although crisp white and nicely made. I write reviews often but for reason not clear that review was rejected. Initial review included pics to show they are light filtering but not blackout. Not sure why that review didn't meet guidelines but trying again so non-blackout is clear to potential buyers.

These curtains are so well-tailored! The material is polyester, but not at all thin. After a touch up with my iron to get rid of the packing wrinkles, the valances look lovely. I am very impressed by the high quality, so much so that I wrote this review.
