We ordered this for a Christmas present and did not open until after the return window. We now are stuck with a board but no rebound belt.

Ice Hockey is one expensive sport. If you're looking here then you are well aware already. For me in a D league, costa and only on ice 2 times per week, I need off ice tools to practice.Looking at what synthetic ice runs per piece plus what a rebounder {passing to yourself} - costs upwards of 200 easy. Is this a good deal, yes it is.The passing surface, which they refer to as 'shooting pad' is made with HDPE. I dont know what that means but compared to my synthetic ice pieces it slides very well. Its thinner but because Im not running around on it a using it for puck control, that a-ok. Easy to pick up and carry, handle built in.The rebounder, I love it but Ive never owned a standalone one due to expense so this is fantastic. Use street hockey pucks, like for inline hockey. Real pucks too slow/heavy. Probably could use a hockey ball too, haven't tried one. If you're looking for an easy way to drop down a surface indoor or out and stick handle a bit, great choice.

I got this for my nephew who just started hockey. When we received the board, we noticed that it wasn’t slippery enough for the puck to slide back and forth. There was a plastic film on it and we thought maybe that was the culprit. We tried to peel off the plastic and I must say it was a pain to peel it off as it didn’t peel off in one go. It took very many attempts. Even after all of it, the puck still didn’t slide too much.
