Item is well made and looks nice on my uncle's homemade camper. The glass is a little thin, so you have to be very careful with it. Otherwise it looks good and would purchase again.

Wanted to put light in my hallway without cutting into studs. Perfect size & unique design. You will need two for a deep wall. Easy to put in!

Very nicely made. My use is to cut into a pocket door between a hallway and my kitchen. The problem I am having is that the provided screws to sandwich together the two halves are not long enough for a door 1-3/8" thick. And a word to the wise, do not drill the holes without a guide or you will play hell getting the halves together. I used the 'DrillMate'.

Purchased porthole window and received unit in normal shipping time.Upon inspection of the window, it is obvious that the screw hole locations between one half of the frame do not line up with the screw locations on the other half of the frame. Manufacturer needs improved tooling and better quality control.

It’s ok, but the rubber gasket that goes around the glass is about 5 inches smaller than it needs to be. The machining isn’t great. The quality of the stainless steel screws is pretty poor.I’ll probably make my own gasket with some silicone cock. It’ll the port lightwork for my purposes.

The rubber glass seal is 3†too short, same as second one I purchased, stretched on to save rubber?. Fastening system can be very tricky to line up ( I used my own self tapping screws making it much easier, no assistance needed to hold inside or outside)?. A easy trim plastic strip to adapt to wall thickness larger than 30mm would be useful and necessary to hold glass firmly in place, instead of it pushing inwards from outside?..Some printed diagrams and suggestions could help the amateur diy to avoid problems and disappointment?. Choose cutout hole size carefully. Overall I like what I see when finished (1 in a door, another in a wall, 1-2hrs each). 🤓ðŸž

Fit and finish is quite nice. Well crafted product. Be aware the glad is very cheap single panel though. I do feel I got my moneys worth from it however.
