I love this design it's beautiful and it a great quality product it does help push out heat from my fireplace highly recommend getting the stand as well so this sits up some. Great product thank you!

It went back and forth on whether to buy a fire back and then on which one we wanted. I finally ordered it, and boy am I glad I did. We love this fireback. It really makes a huge difference in the warmth in the house and it is very attractive.

Bought a FB on recommendation from Chimney Sweep. This one had a nice pattern that compliments our room decor. It is solid cast iron, weighs accordingly (heavy). Packaging is difficult because its so large and heavy, but could have used a little more cushioning on the design side to prevent damage. (The nose on one of the deer protrudes a bit from the surface and it had poked thru the cardboard box and was mildly scraped. But it goes in a fireplace and gets "burned" so it wasnt a big deal. Overall very happy with product and company. Protects the fireplace, gives good heat and looks great.

It is beautiful addition to the fireplace. We have not lit a fire as of yet to see if it actually radiates the desired affect. The deer relief is quite impressive along with it's detail. It is of substantial weight (50 lbs +/-.) . The down side was the packaging it came in, I would have given it two stars for the packaging. It was just cardboard surrounding it. The deer's nose came through the cardboard easily and was very shiny due to it rubbing against something. There were many holes and tears in the box as it is quite heavy. Don't blame the UPS person, it's the packaging. But, do not let this deter you from purchasing it as we were quite surprised how substantial and beautiful it is.

Beautiful fireback but it cracked from heat exposure within 2 years after normal use. We were unable to find a customer service number or email to contact.Photo has ash on it but you can see the vertical crack.

The fire back is protecting the back of the fireplace and radiating heat. It is perfect and I love the deer motif.

This fireback is larger than most online, looks beautiful, and very well built. The design is great, classy. If you know how to make a fire to expose the radiating heat of the coals, then this will marginally add heat output. Basically before the coals, the fire would heat up the fireback and start radiating heat earlier than without it, but once the coals are radiating heat, this fireback doesn't feel like it makes a difference. If you don't know how to expose the coals' heat from the fireplace, then this probably will add a good amount of heat output compared to what you nromally get.I got it from Amazon warehouse at a low price, so it's worth the added look and marginal heat increase. I don't think I would pay a full $199 for this.

This fireback was bigger than expected and it has kept its finish after several fires. The details are nice especially the trees on the side. It just fits our fireplace. Be sure to measure and pay attention to the top of your fireplace, whether it declines to the back. This one just fit ours. It's hard to know how much heat output it provides. We paired with a new grill that is more upright.
